REVIEW #1 – This is my favorite coffee/tea shop in Anchorage. The coffee itself is great but the service and food is what sets it apart. The employees and owner are always so wonderful and kind. REVIEW #2 – Quite literally the best coffee I’ve done in Anchorage. I buy beans, and drink my coffee straight. The Borealis blend is one of the best brews I’ve had.
I stopped by for the first time during a power outage at my place, the baristas were wonderful. They have great bean recommendations based on my preferences.
I also love a good local shop, and a free cup of brew with a bag of beans is nothing to shake a stick at.

REVIEW #1 – Goldie’s Tried and True espresso beans are the best beans I have ever used in my at-home espresso set up. You know when you walk into a coffee shop and it smells divine, and you think to yourself “I want a cup of coffee that tastes exactly like this smell”? Goldie’s is that cup of coffee. REVIEW #2 – Loved the white coffee — SO smooth, no bitterness or acidity, so much easier on your stomach if you suffer from acid reflux at all. As someone who can easily drink 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning, this gives me a much “cleaner” feeling energy without any sour stomach issues. The staff here is so fantastic, caring, and seem genuinely passionate about giving you a good cuppa, no matter what style you prefer. They will even prepare you little samples!
I actually loved the white coffee so much I’ve completely sworn off of other roasts for the time being. Heartburn is nonexistent! I am from LA, and NOWHERE around here are cafes and coffee shops selling white coffee beans, let alone brewing it. I wish I knew where Alaska HoC sourced their beans from! I’ve recently purchases Poverty Bay grounds because of my awesome experience at AHoC. When I’m back in Anchorage, I will absolutely be back!! – Samantha Focht

Also this place deserves a 5 star being that the service was excellent, fast and friendly. I’ve been to other coffee shops and it usually takes about 10 to 1hr wait time I won’t say any names Boom💥 lol. Anyways if your not sure want you want they will happily suggest any flavorful drinks hot or cold and will have you on your way in no time. They were so fast I showed up 30 minutes early for my shift in Muldoon. 😂😂
