REVIEW #1 – Awesome breakfast spot in Tuscaloosa! Service was very fast and very friendly. Food was very tasty and everyone loved their meal. Biscuits were fluffy, buttery, and flakey. My favorite were the city grits. Just perfect amount of savory flavors combined in this perfect dish. Everyone loved their meal – all 7 of us. Ambiance was great, especially if you are able to get a table outside with a view of the river. – K Hill
REVIEW #2 – I ordered the shrimp n grits, with a side of pancakes and two scrambled eggs. I had the strawberry mimosa to drink 8oz. It was great! You really only need one drink. The food was cooked to perfection. 10/10 I would recommend. You have to try the shrimp n grits! The costumer service was great. I will definitely go back to this restaurant. – Tiffany Walker
REVIEW #3 – This place is great if you’re looking for sit-down, table service, better than average breakfast. The food is top notch, the bacon is thick and greasy the French toast is a meal in and of itself. The biscuit beignets are little bits of sweet heavenly goodness. You’re going to pay for this goodness like you would a sit down restaurant for dinner…around $15 to $20 per person…but in my opinion it’s totally worth it…nice view of the river on one side of the restaurant as well. – Poisondragonx

REVIEW #2 – The service at Brick & Spoon was impeccable from the very beginning as Emily greeted us with a smile and helped us find a table of 11 for my nephew’s graduation! We all got to sit together and enjoy Benedict’s, grits, bayou, Cajun, omelets and the BEST service by Elena! Seriously, ask for her! So so tasty and good! Great atmosphere and lots of fun! – Laura Hicks
REVIEW #3 – Fantastic breakfast and service…..on game day!! We ate here homecoming morning, before heading to the stadium, and they were ready! We were seated quickly, waited on right away and had our food in less than 10 minutes. The bananas foster French toast was superb! – Holly Ward

REVIEW #1 – My new favorite spot! Waffle House who!? lol Not only is the food delectable but the prices are great. Very prompt and delightful service from the sweet people they’ve got working there too. And I love the calm low lighting atmosphere. I don’t even feel like I’m in Tuscaloosa anymore lol it’s like a break from outside. A little Andy Griffin feel. – Gabrielle Vines
REVIEW #2 – Our second time visiting and it was just as good as the first!! We ordered the San Francisco Benedict, short stacks/sausage/eggs and the kids breakfast platter. I think this is our breakfast spot whenever we visit Tuscaloosa. – Francheska McClendon
REVIEW #3 – While visiting my husband we had breakfast here twice in two days, the fruity waffle with fresh berries and bananas was absolutely delicious, Husband had the SG & B, Quaint place gives me the vibes of Ohio small town diners aka “greasy spoon” with friendly staff. Menu prices were excellent for the food quality. – Dana Blackburn

REVIEW #1 – The Colorado omelette is hands down the best item on the menu. Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, it left me craving more. It comes with a side, and for that, we chose pancakes, which were just perfect! While the chicken biscuit was decent, I found myself leaning towards the omelettes. Overall, if you’re a fan of hearty omelettes, pancakes, a good cup of coffee, and generous portion sizes, IHOP is the best place for you! – Helia
REVIEW #2 – Haven’t been in a long time. So was very excited to go. Was informed there was a 15 min wait. That turned into 45min to an hour. Got seated but was put next to two big family eating with kids. Which normally wouldn’t be a problem if the whole place was full but there was a whole corner of tables that had nobody over there. Would much rather been sat over there. Food was great. Came out in a timely fashion, so that’s a plus. Very tasty as always. Even learned that they have take out or pick up. Which I didn’t know! Very happy to learn. Overall good experience. Plan to be back. – Ryan Thomas
REVIEW #3 – Excellent breakfast this morning with a group of friends. Corey, our server, was welcoming, prompt, cordial and funny. He brought us everything we needed. This IHOP is one I definitely would return to. Make sure you ask for Corey’s section. – J. Terry McCombs

REVIEW #1 – OMG!! I love being in the south. This place is awesome 👌. Real southern hospitality at its best. From the moment u walk in, it’s like ur at your Alabama grandma’s house. The menu is exactly what u expect it to be to include okra, pinto beans, and fried bologna. The service staff is phenomenal. Sweet as honey pie and friendly as an iced tea on ur neighbor’s porch. Pricing is ridiculous. For breakfast with four people, the cost was under $40. If u r in the Tuscaloosa area, make it a point to stop in and say “hey” ur gonna feel right at home. – Rikki Smith – Faith on Friday
REVIEW #2 – The breakfast was so delicious and freshly cooked. I can’t wait to return! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating! Definitely a place to try if you’re in town – LaShawnda Goodman
REVIEW #3 – Great service and a hearty breakfast. I was in Tuscaloosa for 5 days visiting from Oregon to go to the Alabama football game. This place came highly recommended from a couple different locals I had talked to. I decided to give it a try because it was close to hotel. They were super friendly. I thought the breakfast was delicious and the portions were great. I’m a big fan of big breakfast. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area. – osubeav21

REVIEW #1 – Absolutely wonderful experience at Big Bad Breakfast in Tuscaloosa. The manmosa is unmatched and the breakfast wrap is a must try. Beyond how amazing the drinks, food, sanitation, and atmosphere was I was blown away by the kindness of the staff. My server, Becca, was attentive and had great suggestions without even having to ask. Also, the manager, Mo, went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. Mo and Becca were extremely friendly, aware, and helpful. This experience was notable compared to my other dining experiences because of the people who work here. Thank you Mo and Becca for making a simple breakfast so special. – Grace Carducci
REVIEW #2 – Went to this little gem for the first time today. Got there around 1:00 and it was definitely during the post church rush, but they were efficient. They got us seated in about 30 mins, and the service we had was immaculate. I got the chicken and waffles with a side of spicy bacon and boy was I in for treat. The waffle was light and delightful with a warm honey drizzle and the chicken was juicy and full of flavor. I highly recommend if you’re in town to try it out. – Nick Crowell (Nick)
REVIEW #3 – First time ever eating at any BBB location and I must say the food was delicious! The restaurant was super clean. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated and our server was phenomenal! The manager came over and asked how our meal was and if we needed anything. You can definitely tell they care about their customers. I highly recommend and will be returning. – Kristen Edmondson

REVIEW #1 – Nice location, very clean, staff was very friendly! Natasha was our waitress but all the waitresses looked like they helped each other out and would stop by other tables and ask if anything was needed. I really appreciated that team work! I’m not sure if the cook was also the manager but he was helping with orders, he came out to make sure our food was to our liking and hearing him encourage one of the waitresses was so nice! We aren’t from Alabama but if I was ever back in this area I’d come to this location for sure – Alexandria Harmon
