REVIEW #1 – Stopped by on our way to Homer for breakfast. Was surprised it wasn’t really a sit down place. You order at the counter as would any fast food place. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on sourdough with ham, jalapeños cheese and opted for chipotle sauce rather than their special sauce. For a half a sandwich it was huge and very good. Definitely recommend and will stop again! – Di Nolin
REVIEW #2 – Customer service was on point and Very friendly. The food was served quickly and was cooked exactly as I ordered it. I highly recommend this place even if u want breakfast instead of lunch. The only bummer is they close at 3PM. Soldotna needs another “Sal’s” or 24 hr restaurant that serves breakfast all day. REVIEW #3 – They are open for breakfast and lunch. Someone was waiting for me so as soon as I got there they came over for our drink order. We were given time to look at the menu before ordering. REVIEW #3 – Garbage skillet is so delicious, potatoes, ham, bacon, mushrooms, peppers onions two eggs and a hollandaise sauce. It’s a heaping skillet, we always have leftovers. The biscuits and gravy are the best in soldotna, they even crisp up the biscuits, it’s a great texture. – Beckie

REVIEW #2 – Went in because I thought this was a Cafe with just coffee but turns out it was a place to have lunch as well! This was one of those happy accidents that you come across. I love the atmosphere with all the plants, it’s a very relaxed environment, amazing prices, I love it. I will be coming here to study soon as well, great for students. REVIEW #1 – This is one of the coolest places in town. Went into the historic Alaska Railroad train car to order then a window seat for a nice view and wonderful coffee. Staff was so very friendly, polite and helpful. There’s also a nice gift shop with art and items made by local artists. Large variety of items to order from the menu. REVIEW #2 – So good we had to come twice. This cute and cozy cafe was recommended by a friend and we ended up coming the next morning as well to try the cuckoo for coconut special. The shake N’ bacon is soo good with the maple mustard and the lemon drop is so rich. The atmosphere is so comforting and the staff is always so kind. Could not recommend it enough. – Mary Barbera
REVIEW #3 – This is such a cool spot! We drove down from Anchorage last fall just to come here and right after we ordered the power went out. They refunded us, but I wasn’t able to make it back until recently and was excited to finally try the shakin’ bacon waffle (pictured, but I ate most of it first). It did not disappoint! I ordered it gluten free – I have celiac and had no issues with this order. I also got a firebox freeze and it was a perfect addition to the waffle. – Annie Shane

REVIEW #1 – I’m visiting Soldotna for a couple days and I’ve really enjoyed my meals at The Catch. The portions are huge and the staff are very friendly. The halibut fish and chips were fantastic and I could only finish half because the pieces were so large. My favorite part of their menu is the homemade bread that they serve with each meal. REVIEW #3 – Comfort food! Traditional American comfort food. They also serve breakfast all day. I love breakfast! We were there on a Monday just driving around stopped in Soldotna for lunch. It’s very big inside and it has a nice atmosphere and a good setup. The portions are fairly big. I was only able to finish half my roast beef. My partner got a burger. REVIEW #2 – Such a great new spot. We tried the breakfast, cheddar, and polish dogs. They were all incredible! The friendly service was amazing and the fact that it is family run, makes my heart full. The amount of drink choices is outstanding, with homemade flavor syrups. We will be working our way through the list as this has quickly become one of our new favorite spots. Even our youngest has already requested to come weekly at the very least!
