REVIEW #1 – Great local cafe for excellent coffee! They have a wide selection of espresso based coffees and baked goods, including fresh loaves of bread, and gluten free pastries. Personally I like the reindeer sausage breakfast burrito the best. If you rather have something sweet then you’ll find a huge selection of cookies to cinnamon rolls.
The coffee and food tastes great, but the service is a little slow. If you don’t have your food in 5 minutes then you need to speak with the barista. Table service here, so have patience. – Ryan Stafford

REVIEW #1 – A very pleasant surprise! The coffee is strong and the atmosphere is amazingly simple! The bacon is some of the best I’ve ever had at a diner! The Eggs Benedict though… simply beautiful! REVIEW #2 – Love this place! The signs and the story behind their beginning within the community is worth the trip alone! I had the special of the day, breakfast burger, and definitely recommend it. Jess did fried chicken with onion rings and wasn’t a huge fan, said it’s “not worth writing home about”, but oh well…win some/lose some.

REVIEW #3 – This place is apparently famous among locals…and for good reason. Excellent service, and amusing rustic atmosphere, and a breakfast that will knock your socks off. I had a country Benedict which is basically a blend of eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. Hells to the yes…it was absolutely lit. Coffee was good, potatoes were good. Prices were fair on Alaska standards (understand everything is about 20% higher here than the lower 48 for good reason, it kinda sucks to get supplies in). Parking is ample and it’s easy to get to. REVIEW #3 – Whenever I have sat down to dine here it has been nothing short of excellent. With that said, they also have a wonderful selection of baked goods and pastries, as well as a coffee bar, available for folks that don’t have a lot of time. Everything looks delicious, so just plan to buy more than you can eat and share it. They also support local growers by carrying a variety of products such as spices and honey.
Finally, they have an EV charging location that has come in handy well more than once! I would support them for that service that they provide to the community alone. – Robin Dern

REVIEW #3 – This was a WOW experience. We ordered the egg Benedict, Blueberry pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious, fresh, hot and made from scratch. REVIEW #1 – We loved it! I had plans to go for the first time with girlfriends who couldn’t make it, so my husband took me. They plan to join me there next weekend. I love her potato salad. Brought back memories of my grandmother’s salad, who is not longer on earth. The carrot cake pancakes tasted as good as they looked in the picture the chef and owner posted! And we bought 4 flavors of cheesecake, all delicious. The individual French press coffee is a nice touch (about 3 servings each) and prices are reasonable. We also shared a panini!
