REVIEW #1 – Waffle House has its loyal fan base for a reason. This particular location is entirely staffed with amazing people who seem happy to be there to serve up delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night yummies. The view here is also lovely as you have Guntersville lake directly behind the store. Definitely worth it to stop by, have a bite, and get to know the locals. – Nicki

REVIEW #1 – Excellent! When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly face. Immediately set at our preferred type of seating and told about the seasonal options. We had the Shrimps Benny, Lobster Hash and a cup of hot tea. Everything was delicious and piping hot! Our waitress Hannah was wonderful! We look forward to visiting again. REVIEW #2 – After trying an over-priced omelet with nothing inside the omelet at the nearby Another Broken Egg (ABE) (@ City Harbir), we came to huddle House for better food, much better service and friendly staff…all for about half the price of ABE. REVIEW #1 – Cracker Barrel is my “go to” place for breakfast anytime of the day. They have the absolute BEST pancakes ever! Most of the time I order the Grandma’s breakfast which has 2 pancakes, eggs, a sampling of bacon, ham, & sausage, and I prefer to get hash brown casserole as my side. It’s always satisfying. I have tried the dinner menu a few times and what I have tried has been good but my absolute favorite it the Maple Bacon Chicken. The flavors are a beautiful blend. I love the front porch, rocking chairs, and huge checkers game set up on the porch. The nostalgic feeling that comes as you walk around the store and are reminded of your youth and all the old candies and drinks. They have nice gifts, clothing, and other goodies to enjoy looking at if you are having to wait. – pmkin1
REVIEW #2 – My family of 12 met for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. The staff made sure we were sitting all together in a section almost to ourselves since there wasn’t a large crowd. Our waitress was pleasant and accommodating. The food was delicious. The biscuits were the lightest, fluffy ones I have ever had there. Our family enjoyed our visit in Guntersville. REVIEW #1 – If there was an option for more than 5 stars, that’s what I would give. We pulled up to the adorable exterior of the building, once inside we were warmly greeted at the door, we were asked if we had been here before, we said we hadn’t l, we got a brief forum down of everything. Seat yourself, and the home like decor makes it so welcoming. The food came out quickly, and was so delicious! We ordered the bacon stuffed French toast and biscuit with chocolate gravy. REVIEW #3 – We go to The Rock House Eatery for brunch every single time we visit Guntersville area. It’s a busy busy place for brunch! Call ahead to avoid a long wait. They offer in door and out door seating. The atmosphere is calming, the service is always friendly and attentive and the food is some of the best brunch meals we have had! Some of our favorites include the pimento BLT, any of the savory pies or quiche, the French toast, fried green tomatoes with pepper jam and bacon, and the fried green beans!! They have the best Bloody Mary and for $16 it’s a meal in a glass! Shrimp, green beans, bacon, pickles, celery, it’s jammed packed!
We’ve tried a lot of The chef’s special, too; we’ve never been disappointed or had a bad meal. Delish! The prices are inexpensive for the quality and quantity you are served. This is a treasure in the Sand Mountain area! – LeeAnna McDaniel
