REVIEW #1 – Food was good. They made the scrambled eggs runny as requested. Bacon, toast, hash browns were all good. I tried my son’s cheese steak melt and it was delicious. REVIEW #1 – My mother and I have been enjoying Eric’s cooking for a while. If you want a delicious omelet, you want Eric to fire one up! He IS an impressive one-man-show. Great cook (on everything), friendly and he introduced me to sausage gravy on hash browns. It was delicious. Lynn was our server yesterday and she was stellar. At one point I witnessed another customer being very rude to both her and the manager but they both handled the situation very professionally and remained calm the entire time. REVIEW #1 – The Fort Payne Cracker Barrel is a spacious restaurant. There weren’t many people there yet the morning I had the Country Breakfast of two fried eggs, sausage patties, hash brown casserole, biscuits and gravy. My server was very prompt, friendly and courteous. The food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Cracker Barrel single servings of gravy seems to have increased, which is great! The eggs were cooked as ordered. I like being able to pay at the table electronically, instead of standing in line at the cash register. I shopped around afterwards in the gift shop, which had lots of interesting merchandise. This Cracker Barrel is in the upper third of Cracker Barrels I’ve visited lately. Good service, good food, clean restaurant! My breakfast cost less than $10, which is rare these days! I was confused because I think that the menu indicated a higher price. – DixieDoug
