REVIEW #1 – The waffle house is my guilty pleasure. You can’t beat a Texas Cheesesteak and extra crispy hash browns. My only complaint is they don’t have picante sauce anymore.

REVIEW #2 – Had the Waffle n Eggs with grits and sausage. Food was very fresh, well prepared. Grits… well, grits had the usual lumps, those buckshot-sized wads of sticky corn, you know grit lumps are void of taste because neither salt nor sugar can permiate the rascals. Clean, cheerful atmosphere and good service. The waitress refilled my coffee cup three times without ever asking. Yay!!! I’ll be back again, and I’ll probably have hashbrowns in lieu of grits. The only flaw is that the water was tap, not filtered, and very much tasted like tap. REVIEW #1 – Early breakfast on a Monday morning. My wife had the French toast and excellent. Definitely recommend. I had the big bad breakfast skillet with a biscuit and gravy. Skillet was very good and the biscuit and gravy was amazing. Service was friendly, warm, and prompt. Only downside is they did not have regular black tea (like English breakfast tea). But I doubt many will care. You will need to bring some change for parking as all the spots in this area require it (or just risk it). Expect to pay at least $20 per person here. – David
REVIEW #2 – Today my significant other and I decided to come to Big Bad Breakfast to eat and we were treated wonderfully. Amanda was very attentive and helpful. As I’m not a huge breakfast person, I was unsure of how some things worked but Amanda explained with great detail all while managing her time efficiently. When she wasn’t checking on her tables, she was cleaning up or rolling silverware. Food was wonderful and not too overfilling. Will definitely come back. – Karlee Thigpen
REVIEW #3 – We got to downtown Florence too early to eat at Rosie’s or Ricatoni’s. Saw the sign for Big Bad Breakfast and decided to give it a try. Great atmosphere and service. The food was really good. David had the Big Bad Breakfast Plate and I had a Waffle with a side of Bacon. The Homemade Peach Jelly was so good! Coffee was good too. Will definitely eat here again! All of the memorabilia throughout the restaurant evocative of the muscle shoals sound studios is fascinating to read and enjoy while you are there.
