REVIEW #1 – My fiancés mother and I decided to stop here on a whim and we could not be more happier. The atmosphere is so welcoming, only took about 15 mins to get our food FRESH, and they even gave us 2 free meals because one of our original orders lacked sausage, but they MADE IT RIGHT !! The staff is so welcoming and friendly, and had no problem telling us about the criteria of certain items, speaking that we had never been here. We are currently enjoying our food, which is WONDERFUL and SO GOOD BY THE WAY, and the wonderful atmosphere as well. If you’re in downtown Birmingham, STOP HERE ! REVIEW #2 – Ate at Maplestreet this past Saturday. It did not disappoint. We ordered the five and dime and an egg and bacon plate. The amount of food is insanely large. The Five and Dime was perfect with chicken, bacon, cheese, and egg on a biscuit smothered in gravy. The bacon and eggs were cooked great. It can get crowded but when we arrived, we did not have a wait. The atmosphere could be better- only because there is limited seating but we found a spot and enjoyed our meal!!! – 2ndchanceadventures
REVIEW #3 – The food was great. The portions were large. The restaurant was well laid out, with plenty of parking in the back. The staff was nice. The only slight downside was the price…$28 for a biscuit with eggs, cheese, and bacon, another biscuit, gravy and maple meatball, soda, and a coffee. Ultimately, it was worth the price. REVIEW #1 – Ugh. I just LOVE coming to Homewood bagel. Not only are the bagels BOMB but the crew is so welcoming and nice it really just picks me up and starts the beginning of a good day. I usually always see this girl Bri and she is literally the best. She’s so sweet and hard working. She always has a positive attitude and when she isn’t checking customers out, she is looking for something else to do to help her coworkers. REVIEW #2 – A friend of mine recommended this place after telling me that he had met the owner and that they had really done their research on how to make the best bagels possible. I was really intrigued, so I stopped by here to grab breakfast for my sister and me. I got a BLT on a pepper Jack bagel and she got a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. REVIEW #3 – I have tried so many bagel spots in bham but never found one I was obsessed with until seeing homewood bagel company at pepper place then a month later going to their location in homewood! In both visits I received amazing customer service, fast service, no wait, fresh high quality bagels, and a wide variety of unique spreads. Don’t forget they were offering free mimosas so that was definitely a plus that I was so excited about.
