REVIEW #1 – The cracker barrel is always a wonderful place to go. The barrel bites consist of something called the loaded tater tots. Those things are absolutely fantastic we got two orders for $8.95 and everybody loved them. The tater tots are good and creamy inside and the cheese is melted and gooey along with the bacon, fantastic.
I got the ham platter and the ham was salty and delicious like it should be. None of that sweet cured stuff. The only drawback that I had was the place was so packed that it took a long time to get our food but hey when you have great service and great atmosphere and great food what do you expect. My server wrote me a cute little note and I was grateful for that she was excellent I would recommend her to anyone her name was Carla. Beautiful blonde haired woman – Don Norrell
REVIEW #2 – I decided to take myself on a breakfast date and they did not disappoint. I ordered the country boy breakfast. And let me tell you it was delicious. Chef’s kiss! REVIEW #1 – This Jack’s is a good one. Especially during breakfast hours. Their employees have always been friendly and I’ve never had any problems with my order being wrong. REVIEW #2 – We’ve never tried Krystal in Gardendale, but decided to give it a try. I still remember in the old days of eating those little burgers in downtown Birmingham on a Saturday morning after a movie at the Alabama theater. They are still as tasty as I remember . Good price and the fries are the best of any fast food chain. I will go back just for the fries! The burgers are small but filling. My wife and I shared the four burger and fries meal. REVIEW #3 – The girl that took my order (unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she was working the window on Friday night) was amazing and had some of the best skills of dealing with customers. She was super friendly and actually seemed happy about what she was doing. Which is definitely important in this line of work.
