REVIEW #1 – I’ve been in the mood for breakfast lately while out running errands. I’ve stopped in twice in the last 6 weeks. Had a breakfast platter the first time; it was decent. I ordered my eggs over medium but the whites were runny (whites should be solid with a runny yolk); the place was crazy busy, though, so I wasn’t surprised. Good meal overall. The second time I got the Philly cheese steak omelet and it was AMAZING. The egg was fluffy, the meat was flavorful and tender, and the cheese ratio was pretty dang good for an omelet. Honestly, it’s probably going to be my go-to meal at the HH from now on. Wait staff was friendly even though they are running constantly. Atmosphere is typical of a HH; I sat at the counter the first time, and it was fun to watch the activity. Overall, it’s a good stop for a quick bite. – Marcia M

REVIEW #1 – I recently had the pleasure of visiting Backroads Diner, and it was a wonderful experience. I’m a fan of small family-owned businesses in small towns, and this place was exactly what I was hoping for. I love places that offer a home-cooked breakfast experience. The Sunny-Side-Up eggs I ordered were cooked to perfection, served with toast, tea, and jam. The grilled chicken breast was deliciously tender and flavorful.
