REVIEW #1 – A traditional “Mom and Pop” coin shop! They’ve been at this location for 25 years now, so they must be doing something right. If you’re looking to sell old coins, go in with an open mind. A coin that you looked up on the internet, doesn’t mean that’s what it’s worth! Everything has to do with mintage (date and mint-mark), and condition! REVIEW #3 – Approximately 4 or 5 weeks ago I walked into Covina Coin and Jewelry.
I was looking for specific pieces, and Tracy helped me with a very nice Graded Gold piece.
I explained to her that all the coins I’m collecting are for my daughter’s future inheritance. Tracy said in that case I’m more then happy to help you.
We came to a very fair price, along with a few items in hand for trade. She did a little calculation and Tracy was able to give me my asking price on the items. Tracy was able to make some money it worked out good for the both of us. She is very friendly and helpful. I’m very happy to have found her shop. – John Runion
REVIEW #4 – I’ve been there twice and both times they’ve been awesome. They were very straight forward and professional the first time I was in which is refreshing after dealing with a few shady pawn shops that said things like “sorry brother, we can’t pay you melt weight for your silver coins with “.999 1 oz. Pure fine silver” stamped on them that weighed out to the thousanth decimal place on our own scale, but I’ll give you $10 for the pair and that’s the best I can do. I mean they’re only face valued a dollar anyways, I’d say you’d be coming up big time.” On my second visit I stayed a little longer and kinda chatted up the guy there while drooling over all the awesome currency and coins. He even through in a 1937 $1 silver certificate after I professed my love of paper currency as a bonus. I was stoked. Great store, good people with loads of knowledge, and very fair prices when buying and generous offers when selling. I would highly recommend. – Nicholas Frame
