REVIEW #7 – I showed up at Christos Coins and Jewelry with a van full of coins that my father-in-law had collected over the years. I had called ahead so Basil was expecting me, but I’m not sure he expected so much to look at. He was very friendly and was not at all shocked at how much I had brought. I was there about three hours, but it did not seem like three hours. He, his wife, his friend Nappy and I visited and shared stories. It was not like a business transaction. It was more like meeting friends. I knew nothing about the coins I had and Basil took the time to explain a lot to me about what to keep, what to auction, etc. I thought he was very fair on prices.
