REVIEW #1 – I drove clear the hell out here from the other side of Denver because I heard they were giving better prices than precious metal dealers within Denver proper. Do you know what the difference is? American Eagle gold coins in Denver: most of these guys are offering 10% under spot price. “Cash For Gold” is the worst offender. Erie Gold and Silver paid me spot on the nose. There was an older gentleman behind me who got about 5% over spot due to the condition of his coin. It was clear to me he didn’t know what he had. They didn’t take advantage of him. 50 minutes each way… I’ll make that drive every time. These guys know that being truly legitimate makes for life-long customers. I appreciate that. – Jason Gogela

REVIEW #6 – I love this store. It’s the best gold and silver store in Erie. They pay good prices when I’m selling and don’t get too out of order with their prices when I’m buying. I highly recommend giving this place a try and if your selling, you can’t go wrong. Do not pawn your gold and silver but rather go here and receive almost double what a pawn broker will give you. REVIEW #7 – I was new to the precious metals market after having received several gold and silver eagle coins from my deceased father. It was very easy to take advantage of my inexperience and the first three dealers I visited did just that. Then, fortunately, I found Ty Fay at CPMEX in Erie. His bid price for the gold eagle was the highest I found in my area. But more importantly, Ty is very honest and conducts his business with integrity. As just one minor example, I was unaware that he had raised his bid price since the last time I had seen him and would have accepted the lower price, but he volunteered to me that he raised his bid price and paid me the higher price for my eagles.
