REVIEW #1 – I have been buying and selling gold and silver from Hallenbeck for close to 30 years now. They are as honest and trustworthy as any dealer I have met in the entire country! Their numismatic knowledge is by far superior to any other dealer in the entire state. Whether you are selling, buying, trading, or appraising coins, bullion, jewelry, silverware, etc., this is the place to go! And whatever you do, please, please, please, NEVER clean your coins!! REVIEW #2 – They are more on the upscale side of coin dealers. They do sell and buy coins, gold and silver bullion. When it comes to them buying, they are limited on what they’ll take. Ask for the list of stuff they do take. It mainly coins that they know that they are going to have a good turn around for selling it had to wait outside in line. Only one customer/group per one. REVIEW #4 – Very helpful and extremely professional. I’ve had a few other experiences with coin and bullion dealers in town and many were condescending and jumped on opportunities to try and to manipulate the situation in aspects I wasn’t knowledgeable in. All three times I’ve been to Hallenbeck they’ve been very friendly and more than willing to answer any and all questions I have; even at one point telling me not to sell some things to them because I could get more than they could give me If I shopped around with private collectors. Their staff are highly skilled, fair and provide absolutely awesome conversations about your choice of collectibles and precious metals or coins. I was awestruck and very pleased with the price I was offered for my Walking Liberty. The vast variety of coins they have available is also immense and I was in coin geek heaven!
