REVIEW #7 – We came in to sell the content’s of my grandfather’s lock box. Some silver coins, some proof sets, a few vintage rings. The clerk seemed to be quite familiar with the items and carefully explained his evaluation process. It felt like a very aboveboard, professional transaction.
The shop itself is cool. Lots of vintage items, especially old beer signage, stereo equipment and children’s toys.
I’m not going to take a star off for this since it’s a pawn shop, but the store does reek of mildew. Not sure what’s going on; I know it’s an older building full of older things, but the smell is excessive and contrasts unfortunately with the quality of the merchandise. – Danielle Kinzler
